Finally a Vespa Electric Scooter For Sale, and will be available in showrooms starting April 2019



Piaggio finally announced the selling price of their newest electric scooter, the Vespa Elettrica, in the EICMA 2018 event. Previously, this electric motorbike had been ordered online in several American and European countries and would go into showrooms in April 2019.

Quoting from Motorcycle.com, this electric motorbike is priced starting at USD7,499 or around Rp110 million for the United States market. Later, the Vespa Elettrica was made at the Pontedera factory, the same location as the first scooter in 1946.

The Vespa Elettrica relies on a 4.2 kWh Li-ion motor with 200 Nm peak torque. This skutik is equipped with two driving modes, namely Eco and Power. In Eco mode, the maximum speed is limited to 30 km / hr.

In addition, the TFT panel instrument is installed which can be connected to a smartphone. Interestingly, on the Vespa Elettrica, this component can be operated with the joystick on the right handlebar or even through the user's voice command.
